One of my uncles used to say :--

" Never read Health books as you may die of a misprint "

Though it was said in humorous tone ,  I must admit that what type of foods we should take is most controversial most of the time. For example ,

* Naturopaths want you to diet everytime . You eat to live and not live to eat , they preach. For them , taste and enjoying the feast should be last in our mind.

* But modern Nutritionists call it all blah-blah and want you to take a balanced diet daily ( and not starve yourself ) to keep body full of energy & fitness.

* Perhaps most controversial  is to take water or not before food , during food or after food ! No consensus seems to be around and everyone of us is at wits' end !

* similar confusion is about breakfast. Baba Ramdev says breakfast should be light and no dinner  after sunset. But Westerners believe in heavy breakfast. Most of Indians do take dinner after 10 pm but conventional wisdom disputes it.

* another confusion is how much glass of water daily ? Old-timers ask us to drink maximum water but a recent theory says it damages our kidneys as they get overworked. Plus excess urination means exit of nutrients also along with urine. So a big confusion here again.
